The light situation being basically on existent, it was important to not only select the right plant family, – Sansevieria – but the Sansevieria type that needed the least light and could thrive even in extreme dark areas: Sansevieria zeylanica.

It is important to always remember: office light or lamps do not equal natural light. And the selection of the correct plant should be based on the amount of natural light in that space, not the amount of lamps.
